KashrusBase

Platform

One platform for the whole kashrus operation

Seven modules that share the same establishments, people and history — so a visit scheduled on Sunday becomes a report, an invoice line and a payout without being entered again.

Establishments & Facilities

Every establishment, one complete record

Restaurants, caterers, bakeries, factories and plants each have a single record, organized the way kashrus works: the business you bill, the establishment you certify, and the facilities where the work happens.

How it works

  1. 1Add the establishment, its facilities and its contacts
  2. 2Set its category and status, and schedule its supervision
  3. 3Keep documents and agreements with the record
  4. 4Follow its visits, reports, certificate and invoices from one place

Workforce & Scheduling

The right people, in the right place, at the right time

Build the week across food service, production and shechita. Each person sees their own assignments on their phone, and team leaders can plan their team's week from the field.

How it works

  1. 1Plan visits and shifts by establishment and by person
  2. 2Publish the schedule — each person sees their own on their phone
  3. 3Team leaders build and adjust their team's week on mobile
  4. 4Completed work flows on to reports, invoices and pay

Supervision & Field Reports

Reports from the field, while the details are fresh

The mashgiach completes the report on site: your agency's checklist, notes, photos and video. The office and the rabbonim see it as it arrives, and questions are asked and answered on the report itself.

How it works

  1. 1The mashgiach opens the visit on their phone
  2. 2Completes your checklist and adds photos or video
  3. 3The report reaches the office with its location and media
  4. 4Questions and answers stay on the report, for the record

Certificates & Verification

Certificates the public can check in seconds

Certificates are issued from the establishment's record, carry a serial number and a QR code, and are emailed straight from the platform. Whoever scans the code sees whether the certificate is valid — or expired, suspended or revoked.

How it works

  1. 1Issue the certificate from the establishment's record
  2. 2Email it to the establishment — one at a time or in bulk
  3. 3The public scans the QR code and sees its current status
  4. 4Renew it from the same record when the time comes

Billing & Financial Operations

Billing that follows the work

Invoices can be generated from scheduled and reported activity — by the day, hour or visit, or for shechita by the bird or head — so every line traces back to the work behind it. Payments, statements and balances sit alongside.

How it works

  1. 1Supervision is scheduled and reported
  2. 2Invoice lines are drawn from that activity, with units and rates
  3. 3Invoices and statements go out by email as PDFs
  4. 4Payments are recorded and reconciled against your bank

Shechita Operations

Shechita, from the schedule to the settlement

Shochtim and supervisors are scheduled by plant and day. The supervisor reports each day's numbers from the plant, and the office reviews and approves them — so the plant's invoice and the crew's pay follow from the same report.

How it works

  1. 1Schedule shochtim and supervisors by plant and day
  2. 2The supervisor reports the day: counts, treifos and checks
  3. 3The office reviews and approves the day's report
  4. 4Approved work flows into the plant's invoice and the crew's pay

Administration & Permissions

Control over who sees what, and a record of what was done

Each person signs in to an interface made for their role. Administrators are given access one area at a time, and every change — to an establishment, certificate, report, invoice or permission — is recorded with who made it and when.

How it works

  1. 1Invite your team and give each person their role
  2. 2Open administrative areas to each administrator individually
  3. 3Every change is recorded automatically
  4. 4Review the activity log, or the history of any single record

Connected by design

Entered once. Traceable everywhere.

Each piece of supervision is a single record that moves through the platform. The schedule, the report, the invoice line and the payout all point back to the same visit.

Illustrative preview · fictional data

  • One record per visit

The schedule, the report and the billing all refer to the same activity.

  • Every amount explained

Each invoice line shows the reported work it came from.

  • Pay that matches the work

Staff pay is drawn from the same approved activity.

Where the work happens

At the desk and in the field

The same platform in the browser and on the phone — nothing to install, and nothing to keep in sync.

  • The office, on the desktop

Establishments, schedules, certificates and billing on a full screen.

  • The field, on the phone

Schedules and reports on any phone, installable to the home screen.

  • Email built in

Certificates, invoices and statements are sent from the platform, and replies come back into it.

  • Notifications

In-app and email notifications for the events each person chooses.
